Community Guidelines
As members and guests of Nouveau Spaces, we recognize the importance of maintaining a high standard of professionalism, ethical behavior, and mutual respect within our community. This Code of Conduct outlines the principles and guidelines that govern our interactions and activities within Nouveau Spaces.
At Nouveau Spaces, we strive to provide a harmonious and productive co-working environment for all our valued members.
To ensure the best experience for everyone, all members and guests must adhere to the following rules:
Respectful Behavior: Treat fellow members, guests, and our staff with respect and professionalism. Discrimination, harassment, and any form of disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.
Noise Level: Maintain an appropriate noise level in common areas to avoid disrupting others. If you need to take a phone call, please use designated phone booths or common areas.
Cleanliness: Keep your workspace and common areas clean and tidy. Dispose of trash properly and leave meeting rooms in the condition you found them.
Safety: Follow all safety guidelines and emergency procedures. Be aware of fire exits, extinguishers, and other safety equipment. Prioritize safety for yourself and others. If you notice any safety hazards or concerns, please report them immediately to our staff.
Balcony Safety: For your safety, leaning or sitting on the balcony is strictly prohibited. Please adhere to this rule to prevent accidents and ensure a secure environment.
No Smoking Policy: Smoking is strictly prohibited within Nouveau Spaces premises. This includes traditional cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and any other smoking or vaping devices. We prioritize the health and comfort of all our members and maintain a smoke-free environment.
Guests: Feel free to bring guests, but kindly inform the front desk in advance. Guests are expected to follow the same rules as members.
Guest Policy: Members are welcome to bring guests, but please remember that you are responsible for your guests' conduct. Ensure your guests adhere to our community guidelines and respect the space and fellow members.
Meeting Rooms: To ensure availability, members must reserve any required rooms in advance. Use them only during your allotted time. Be punctual to allow for smooth transitions between bookings.
Shared Amenities: Respect shared amenities like the photo/video production space, kitchenette, and balcony. Keep them organized and clean for everyone's enjoyment.
Privacy: Respect the privacy of fellow members and their work. Do not take photos or videos of others without their permission.
Networking: While networking is encouraged, please respect others' time and work commitments when initiating conversations.
Events and Workshops: Attend and participate in events and workshops with an open mind. Your engagement enhances our community.
Parking: If you require parking, there is a conveniently located parking garage across the street from Nouveau Spaces. Please follow the designated rules and guidelines of the parking facility. Be mindful of other members' parking needs.
Hallway Etiquette: To maintain smooth traffic flow and ensure everyone's comfort, please avoid lingering in the hallways.
Membership Access: Do not share your access card or entry code with unauthorized individuals. Contact the management for any access-related concerns.
Dress Code: Maintain a professional appearance in line with your work and the environment.
Pets: We allow service animals in accordance with applicable laws. However, pets are not generally permitted in the workspace for the comfort of all members.
No Self-Promotion: While sharing experiences and insights is encouraged, members should refrain from using Nouveau Spaces platforms for direct self-promotion, advertising, or solicitation.
Harassment-Free Environment: Nouveau Spaces is committed to providing a harassment-free environment for all members. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or offensive behavior will not be tolerated.
No Tenant-Landlord Relationship: It's important to clarify that members have no rights as tenants on Nouveau Spaces / Colour Sound Studios property. Membership grants access to the workspace, but it does not establish a tenant-landlord relationship. Members agree to follow our club rules and policies.
Feedback: We value your input. If you have suggestions, feedback, or concerns, feel free to communicate with our staff.
Limitations of Liability: Nouveau Spaces shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages, losses, injuries, or claims arising from or related to the participation in membership events, activities, interactions, or the use of club resources. All members acknowledge and agree to the following specific limitations of liability:
Compliance: Members must adhere to all federal, state, and local laws, as well as our club rules and policies.
Voluntary Participation: Participation in Nouveau Spaces events, activities, discussions, and interactions is entirely voluntary. Members assume full responsibility for their involvement and any consequences that may arise from such participation.
Personal Conduct: Members shall conduct themselves in a responsible and respectful manner during all Nouveau Spaces-related activities. The club is not responsible for any disputes, conflicts, or issues that may arise between members during events or interactions.
Assumption of Risk: By participating in club events, activities, and interactions, members acknowledge that certain activities may carry inherent risks. Members accept these risks and release Nouveau Spaces, it’s employees, and its leadership from liability for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred.
Third-Party Services: The club may collaborate with third-party vendors or venues for events. Members acknowledge that the Nouveau Spaces is not responsible for the quality, safety, or outcome of services provided by third parties.
Indemnification: Members agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Nouveau Spaces / Colour Sound Studios, leadership, and its employees from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from their actions, conduct, or participation in Nouveau Spaces-related activities.
Photography and Media: Members attending club events understand that photographs or media content may be captured. Nouveau Spaces reserves the right to use such media for promotional purposes without prior consent.
Disclaimer of Warranties: Nouveau Spaces / Colour Sound Studios makes no warranties, either express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any information, resources, or services provided.
Compliance with Laws: Abide by all local laws and regulations while using our spaces. Any illegal activities are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate action.
Termination of Membership: Nouveau Spaces reserves the right to terminate or suspend a member's membership in accordance with Nouveay Spaces rules and policies. Nouveau Spaces is not liable for any resulting consequences of such actions.
Removal: All members and guests of Nouveau Spaces must adhere to our community guidelines, terms of service, and privacy policy.
Non-compliance with our guidelines may result in removal from our premises and suspension of your membership and membership privileges without refund.
Failure to follow these membership rules may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or even termination of membership. We believe that a cooperative and respectful atmosphere contributes to the success of our community. By participating in membership events, activities, and interactions, members acknowledge and accept these limitations of liability. Members are encouraged to exercise caution, personal judgment, and due diligence in all their interactions and activities within Nouveau Spaces
By adhering to this Code of Conduct, we commit to creating a positive, supportive, and thriving community within Nouveau Spaces. We understand that failure to comply with these guidelines may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or termination of membership, as determined by Management.
